Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing Title, owned by Ifeanyi Onuoha ("we," "us," "our"). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Title mobile application ("Service").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Subscriptions

Some features of the Service are available on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"), typically monthly. Your Subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless you or we cancel it. You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your account management page or by contacting our customer support team at usetitleapp@gmail.com.

A valid payment method (e.g., credit card) is required to process Subscription payments. You must provide accurate and complete billing information, including your full name, address, state, zip code, and payment method details. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge all Subscription fees to the provided payment method. If automatic billing fails, we may issue an electronic invoice requiring manual payment within a specified deadline.

Free Trial

We may offer a Subscription with a free trial for a limited period ("Free Trial"). You may need to provide billing information to sign up for a Free Trial. If you do, you will not be charged until the Free Trial expires. Unless you cancel your Subscription before the Free Trial ends, you will be automatically charged the applicable Subscription fees for the selected Subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the Free Trial offer at any time without notice.

Fee Changes

We may modify Subscription fees at our discretion. Any fee changes will take effect at the end of the current Billing Cycle, and we will provide reasonable prior notice to allow you to terminate your Subscription before the change applies. Continued use of the Service after a fee change constitutes your agreement to pay the modified amount.

Refunds

Refund requests for Subscriptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and granted at our sole discretion. For in-app purchases, we may share information about your purchase activity (e.g., time since app installation, total app usage time, anonymous account identifier, trial period details, total amount spent, and total amount refunded) to process refund requests. By using our Service, you consent to this data sharing.

4. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice before taking effect. Non-material changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

5. Prohibited Conduct and Content

Title is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all users. The following are strictly prohibited:

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations of these guidelines without prior notice.

6. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect technical data and related information (e.g., telemetry data through Firebase, Sentry, Mixpanel, and RevenueCat) to improve the Service, facilitate updates, and provide support. This data is collected in a form that does not personally identify you, except as required for Subscription billing or refund processing. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of this data as described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, to the sharing of purchase-related data for refund processing.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of us and our licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

10. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we, our directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your use or inability to use the Service, (b) third-party content or conduct, (c) content obtained from the Service, or (d) unauthorized access or alteration of your data. Our total liability for all damages (except as required by law for personal injury) shall not exceed fifty dollars ($50.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, free of errors or viruses, or meet your requirements. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so these exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by discontinuing use and canceling any Subscriptions. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends, and you must remove the Service from your devices. Relevant provisions of these Terms (e.g., intellectual property, limitations of liability, indemnification) will survive termination.

Governing Law

The laws of the Country, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern this Terms and Your use of the Service. Your use of the Application may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

Disputes Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
